Our Story
From Ghana Passion Project to Canadian Canvas Brand
Akmah began as a family-run passion project in Ghana, where founders Ama and Akwasi hand-framed custom art for friends and family. Word spread fast—so fast that we sold 20,000 pieces in a single month. Fueled by that early success, we brought our vibrant, multi-canvas designs to Ontario, Canada. Today, we ship internationally to 14 countries and are expanding into the USA and UK.

I am ( miss) Sanita Obeng Amponsah, Founder of Akmah canvas wall art and print I’m a 29 years old lady. A registered nurse who holds professional licenses with the Illinois State and Nursing and midwifery council Ghana. I love to craft beautiful pictures into panels of arts .
